100% acetate, i.e. cellulose fiber made from natural raw materials, is often identified with silk due to its properties and characteristics.

  Its unique visual qualities have allowed acetate to be considered an alternative to silk. However, acetate has much more in store and competes with other materials in many fields. First of all, it is worth noting that it has very good hygroscopic properties, absorbing up to 25% of moisture. This state of affairs makes clothes made of this fabric very comfortable in contact with the skin, allowing it to breathe freely.
